About Me
I am passionate about Kawandi/Koudi hand-quilting from India. I am in the process of exploring the technique to interpret what the makers were trying to say; to see connections between this tribal art-form and other quilting forms; to see how I can use this skill to express Climate Change concerns/solutions and social causes, in a abstract modern-art form. I love to teach Kawandi/Koudi Quilting. I believe everyone has a unique take on this free-form quilting technique.
I live in Columbia Maryland. I am a beginner runner! Both Quilting and running take my mind off of anything of lesser value!
