Medallion in a Kawandi?

A medallion like feature stood out in the Kawandi. And on observing Kawandi, Koudi,and Gee’s Bend quilts; and patterns in African Weaves, and patterns formed by strips of cloth wrapped around Egyptian mummies I see similarities in their works; which leads me to believe that people of various cultures have been inspired by each other. The center motif is my symbol for showing “Unity in diversity”.
